Parental Code of Conduct
To: All Ellendale Bears Youth Sports Parents
From: Ellendale Bears Youth Sports Board of Directors
Parents:
We welcome all of you to Ellendale Bears Youth Sports. For some of you this is yet another of many
seasons you and your child have been involved with us. For others this may be the first experience for your
child in a particular sport at EBYS. We are a founding member of Shelby Youth Sports and we have seen
many children grow up within our programs. We as a board believe that it is our responsibility to provide
your children with the best environment possible to experience and learn each sport we offer. Our
programs require a great deal of dedication and time from not only the children but the parents as well. All
of our coaches and board members are volunteers and put in countless hours to better serve our community
and children. We strongly encourage that parents be involved by volunteering during each of our seasons.
This is the first year that we will be requiring that all parents read and sign our Parent Code of Conduct. We
have implemented this policy to ensure that all parents, family members and friends of our athletes
understand that our main goal is to provide the best environment for our athletes. Several other areas
within Shelby Youth Sports have implemented this Code of Conduct and it has proven to be very
successful.
We as a board of directors and coaches will always be available to hear any concerns, complaints or
suggestions that you may have throughout our seasons.
Again, we welcome all of you and we look forward our upcoming seasons!
Sincerely,
Jessica Walker- Director
Dale Wells- Booster Club President /Assistant Director
Richard MIller- Treasurer
Kenny Kellon-VP- Booster Club
Dena Anderson- Secretary
Heather Carmon- Concessions Director
