Football Practice schedule 8/8-8/12- Mon - Fri 6-8 PM
We will monitor the heat this week and update this site and our website daily with any changes. Also- the Parent Meeting is at 6:30 Monday night for Football and Cheer parents.

Thursday 8/4
All Football and Cheer Practices are cancelled for tonight due to the high heat index. The Parent meeting has been rescheduled to Mon 8/8 @ 6:30.

SYS has changed the previous decison regarding practice this week. Practices will still not begin until 7 PM- however, if the heat index is @ 104 or below we can wear full pads. All players should report to practice wearing practice pants w/pads. Once it is cool enough we will wear shoulder pads and helmets.

The Practice schedule for this week is:
Tues, Thurs & Fri- 7:00PM-8:30PM, Sat 8AM-10AM (Bantams & Peewees)
Tues,Thurs & Fri- 7:00PM-9:00PM, Sat 8AM-10AM (Juniors & Seniors)
NO PRACTICE ON WED

If the heat index at the time of practice is 105 or above we will postpone or cancel practice.

Ellendale Bears Football Camp Dates @ Ellendale Park
Sat July 9th - 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM
Tue- July 19th- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Thur- July 21st- 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
These are free camps for current players or players interested in our football program. Kids should wear tshirt, shorts and cleats/tennis shoes. Make sure to bring water! Signups will take place on these dates as well.

It's sign-up time for Ellendale Bears cheerleading!  Come see us at Buffalo Wild Wings on Hwy 64 in the Wolfchase area during any of the following times:

Wednesday, May 18th from 5:30p-8:30p
Sunday, May 22nd from 12p-3p and 5:30p-8:30p

If anyone is interested in applying for a Head Coaching postion for the 2011 Football season, an application can be found on the football page. If interested, please complete and return to us no later than March 3. We will review and schedule the interviews for Sat March 5th.

We will be holding Baseball signups this Sat Feb 5th at Milanos Pizza from 12-2PM. Milanos is located at 6525 Memphis Arlington Rd across from the neighborhood Walmart. Our numbers are looking pretty good for the 8 Under, 12 Under and 14 Under teams. We really need more 10 year olds to be able to fill that team. So far I only have had a handful of commitments for this team. If any of you know of players in that age group interested let me know.

Our fee this year will be $120.00. This covers the Bartlett Parks fee (70.00 for Bartlett residents, 90.00 for non Bartlett residents) The additional $50.00 will cover our uniforms, and additional equipment needed for the teams.

Our 2010 Ellendale Football and Cheer banquet will be held Thursday Dec 16th @ 6PM. We will be holding it at the Bartlett Municipal Center located at 5868 Stage Rd. Coaches, players and cheerleaders are free. All others are $5.00 per person. Children 4 and Under are free. We are having dinner catered by Colleta's. We will also be giving away another flat screen TV!! We look forward to recognizing our players and cheerleaders from this year. We had a GREAT year at Ellendale!!!!!
