Baseball Signups will begin in early Feb. We will post dates and times as soon as they are set. We intend on providing at least one team in each of these age groups: 8 and Under Coach Pitch 10 and Under 12 and Under 14 and Under ( if we have enough signups) We will play as recreatioanl teams within the Bartlett Recreation League. The fees have not been set, but we are hoping to keep them at $125.00. This will include all league fees, insurance, team equipment, players jerseys and caps. It will also provide for trophies and end of year team party. we are in need of coaches and anyone interested in helping as we kick off the 2010 season. David Hyde will have copies of the 2009 Football / Cheer Video yearbook available for sale at the banquet. They are $5.00. Our Banquet is scheduled for Thursday 12/17 at the Bartlett Municipal Center located at 5868 Stage Rd 6-9 PM. We are having Coletta's cater the dinner. We will have a choice of spaghetti or chicken alfredo, salad and dessert. Players, cheerleaders and coaches are free, as well as children under 5. Parents and children over five will be $5.00 per person. No tickets will be sold in advance, payment will be made at the door. We will have 3 positions open for the Ellendale Board of Directors this year. Nominations are due by 10/31. We will have nomination forms available at the concession stand this week. You can also email your nominations to info@ellendalebears.com. The 3 positions open this year are: Area Director Secretary Treasurer If you would like more information regarding these positions and their responsibilites, please email us or ask a current board member. This week is our 2009 Homecoming vs Arlington. Friday night we will have our Homecoming Court activities from 7-9 pm. Saturday we will have games at the regular games times. We will also have activities for the kids all day. These will include moon bounces, face painting and silent auction.Wristbands for the moon bounces are available at the concession stand for $5. After the last game of the day we will have a Coaches flag football game, followed by a Free BBQ dinner for all parents and children. Each team is being asked to bring the following items for the dinner: Bantams- 12 pack of drinks Peewee- Buns Juniors- Plates, forks, napkins Seniors- Desserts Cheerleaders- Chips Please bring these items to the stand no later than Friday night.
